Flake Floors
Flake floor systems are one of our most popular and versatile concrete coating options, offering exceptional durability, stain resistance, and a wide range of color choices. Designed to withstand heavy use, these floors deliver long-lasting performance while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. Decorative vinyl flakes are broadcast into the coating to add texture, visual depth, and slip resistance. Flake floors are an excellent choice for garages, workshops, patios, man caves, mechanic shops, warehouses, and other high-traffic spaces. With their combination of strength, functionality, and customizable design options, flake floor systems provide a practical and attractive flooring solution for both residential and commercial environments.

Concrete Polishing
Polished concrete is a durable, low-maintenance flooring solution that is widely used in commercial and industrial environments. It enhances the appearance, strength, and cleanliness of a concrete floor without the need for a traditional coating system. Through a multi-step polishing process, the surface is mechanically refined to achieve the desired finish and performance level. Using advanced concrete polishing equipment, our team can deliver a range of results—from varying gloss levels to different degrees of aggregate exposure. The Wolf Concrete Coatings team works closely with each client to achieve a polished concrete floor that meets both aesthetic goals and functional demands.

Solid Color Floors
Solid color floor systems offer a clean, seamless appearance for spaces that prioritize simplicity and sophistication. Built using the same high-performance materials as our other coating systems, these floors feature a uniform, single-color finish that enhances both durability and visual appeal. Solid color coatings are especially popular in environments that require a neat, professional look, such as airplane hangars, manufacturing clean rooms, and residential or commercial garages. The smooth surface provides excellent cleanability and a refined finish. To enhance safety, we typically recommend applying a satin or traction-enhanced topcoat, which improves slip resistance while maintaining the floor’s sleek, modern aesthetic.

Decorative Metallic Floors
Decorative metallic floors deliver a truly one-of-a-kind finish, adding artistic depth and visual movement to any space. These custom flooring systems can range from refined, subtle tones to bold, high-impact color combinations, creating a distinctive look tailored to your style. Metallic floors are ideal for storefronts, beauty salons, tattoo parlors, bars, and high-end residential garages where a dramatic statement is desired. Due to the complexity of the materials and techniques involved, these floors require exceptional precision and attention to detail. For this reason, all decorative metallic floor installations are completed exclusively by the owner of Wolf Concrete Coatings, CeeJay Schultz, ensuring unmatched craftsmanship and consistent, high-quality results.

Our Prep Process
Proper surface preparation is the most critical step in any concrete coating installation. As with any high-performance coating system, long-term success depends on how well the surface is prepared. Shortcuts and DIY methods—such as acid washing—do not create the proper surface profile required for durable adhesion and often lead to premature coating failure. We regularly repair and replace floors that were improperly prepped using these methods, which ultimately results in higher costs for the property owner. Investing in a professional coating installation from the start ensures the surface is correctly prepared, the coating bonds as intended, and the finished floor delivers lasting performance, durability, and appearance—without the need for costly repairs down the line.
#1 Grind
Every floor coating installation begins with meticulous surface preparation using professional-grade, walk-behind diamond grinding equipment. This critical step removes existing coatings, contaminants, and surface blemishes while correcting minor imperfections to create a clean, level substrate. Mechanical grinding ensures the concrete meets the industry-recommended Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) required for the specific coating system being installed, which is essential for long-term performance.
Beyond achieving the proper CSP, the grinding process opens the concrete’s pores, allowing the primer to deeply penetrate the surface and form a strong mechanical and chemical bond. This level of adhesion significantly enhances durability and wear resistance. When properly prepared and installed, our coating systems bond securely to the concrete, resisting peeling, delamination, and premature failure. The result is a high-performance floor designed to withstand daily use while maintaining its appearance and integrity for years to come.
#2 Patch/Repair
This detailed preparation process restores structural integrity while creating a smooth, uniform surface across the entire floor.
Proper patching and grinding not only improve the appearance of the slab but also eliminate weak points that could compromise coating performance over time. By addressing every imperfection before installation, we ensure the coating system bonds evenly and performs as intended. The result is a clean, level, and durable concrete surface that is fully prepared for our coating process and built to deliver long-lasting results.
#3 Concrete Joints
No coating or material can prevent concrete from shifting over time. These joints play a critical role in preserving the integrity of the slab. For clients seeking a seamless appearance, a high-quality, flexible joint filler can be installed to allow for movement while minimizing visual interruption. However, in most cases, we recommend leaving joints open whenever possible. This approach helps prevent future cracking, coating stress, or joint failure, ensuring long-term performance and durability of the finished floor.
