Flake Floors

Flake floors are one of the most popular and durable concrete coating systems we install—especially for garage floors, workshops, and high-traffic residential or commercial spaces. Every flake floor installation starts with proper concrete preparation, which is the most critical step for long-term performance. We mechanically grind the concrete to remove surface contaminants, open the pores of the slab, and ensure maximum adhesion. Cracks, pitting, and minor imperfections are addressed so the coating bonds evenly and securely.

Once the surface is prepped, we apply a 100% solids epoxy base coat. This high-strength epoxy penetrates the concrete and creates a strong foundation for the system. While the epoxy is still wet, we perform a full broadcast to rejection using your selected decorative flake blend. This process completely saturates the surface, adding texture, depth, and slip resistance while creating a seamless, custom look.

After the epoxy and flakes have fully cured, excess flakes are removed and the floor is prepared for the final layer. A polyaspartic topcoat is then applied to seal the system. This topcoat is UV-stable, chemical-resistant, and stain-resistant, helping prevent yellowing, hot tire pickup, and damage from oils, fuels, or household chemicals.
